Irma's first maternity shoot

I shot Irma's engagement portraits last year and I was so psyched to get to take her first set of maternity portraits yesterday! Shhhh, don't tell Daddy, because the shoot is a Valentine's Day surprise from Momma and Baby (who I just know is going to be a girl....)
Irma is around 4 months along and she was a good sport about doing a little tummy-bearing for our shoot! I have another session scheduled for later in her pregnancy, so stay tuned to see this baby bump again!

And even babies-to-be have to get in on the Valentine's Day Festivities!

Baby Cord

...his Momma was my next door neighbor when I taught first grade for several years, and she is seriously the most caring person I have ever met in my life. This was one of the most enjoyable photo shoots I have ever done, and I totally spaced giving Mom any of my usual directions about how the shoot will go, what to dress the baby in, etc. She showed up with the PERFECT choices of outfits and the whole shoot was so relaxed, with Baby Cord smiling and in good spirits for more than an hour! He was a busy little guy and my shutter speed had to work double time to keep up with him! Don't those big brown eyes make you just want to melt?

And of course we had to have some Valentine's Day fun!

3 P's

These 3 P's (twins are 5 and lil P is almost 2) have been some of my favorite subjects to photograph since they were babies! I seriously would have thought they couldn't get any cuter since that photo shoot where we captured their little bare booties playing in a fountain, but look at these guys! Those eyes.....watch out girls!
